The year is 2631, during the third era of peace. The raging fires of the Eternal War have been extinguished by the cool waters of peace. But the embers still burn red-hot, slowly rising until they erupt into declarations of war and ceaseless violence. The pacts and accords of peace are signed by the nations of the galaxy, attempting to cement an era of peacefulness and alliances.
Simultaneously, terrorists concoct plans to disturb this new era of peace with attacks and false flag operations, while remnants of the once mighty Corpus Alliance plan invasions and battles to conduct revenge against the Federation that they hate.
But these little wars and incidents are but mere campfires compared to the raging bonfire of the war that once was, the all-consuming war that left entire universe devistated.
In this era, wars are fought for the very same reasons since the dawn of civilization: religion, politics, resources, knowledge, and the simple but sweet feeling of revenge. The facts remain the same.
